On Thursday night I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot the Fred Segal/Flaunt magazine party for Fashion's LA Night out! It was one of those opportunities that arose so unexpectedly. I was prepping for another shoot that day and got a call from the editor of guestofaguest, an online community that covers important parties/events in LA, NY, Hamptons and Washington DC. I had contacted their editor over a month ago, asking if they needed any photographers for upcoming events. It was 7 hours before LA FNO that I finally heard from them. Like I said, spontaneous, right?
The party was located in Santa Monica in a parking lot behind the Fred Segal store (Broadway St). There were about 10-15 businesses selling their products,along with one or two bakeries handing out samples of their tasty treats. Between the drinking, dancing, free food and great music, this celebration of LA fashion was definitely successful.
