Model of the Month:  Hannah Chamberlain

Who is your favorite model of all time?
This is such a difficult question to answer because there are so many models whose work I admire. I can say that my current favorite is Cara Delevinge.
What inspires you?
When I'm shooting I'm often inspired by characters from my favorite books and movies. I strive to capture the essence of heroines like Dominique Francon from The Fountainhead who possess a mix of strength, intelligence and delicate femininity.
What do you look for when selecting a photographer to work with?
I look for photographers with personal, professional and artistic integrity. I like to work with perfectionists who have a clear vision of what they want to express. If a photographer is nice and fun to communicate with it's a huge plus.
What is your personal style?
I like to mix polished, feminine, classic elements (high heels, pencil skirts and fur coats) with menswear and hyper-casual pieces(oversized men’s sweaters, beanies and vintage t-shirts).
What genre does your work focus on?
Editorial.

Photographer of the Month:  Kaylin

Kaylin Sigal graduated with an AAS in Professional Photography and a BFA in Commercial Photography from Brooks Institute in 2011.  Currently living and working in Southern California.

Makeup Artist of the Month:  Katie Holtz Artistry

What product can you not live without?
I would say my Shiseido eye lash curler and Smashbox Dark Spot correcting Primer
What is your favorite project you have worked on?
We did a magazine/editorial shoot (Savior) in an old abandoned jail.  It was very creepy but so worth it.
 What is your personal style?
Boyfriend Jeans, combat boots, and whatever shirt fits my mood.
What genre does your work focus on?
Mainly beauty but I do a little of everything.
What is your favorite band or song of all time?
All time would be difficult…favorite Duo now..Empire of The Sun

Hair Stylist of the Month:  Robledo Studio

Why hair styling?
I believe I was born with the talent and passion. My eyes have always focused on hair and makeup, whether I'm flipping through magazines or watching television. The true secret being -- styling my sister's dolls while the G.I. Joe's were on the look out. HA!
Who is your favorite Hair Stylist of all time?
Oribe Canales! He has been passionate about hair all of his life.  Also born in the Latin culture, it's easy for him to accomplish that sexy hair look for each celebrity without making the hair look overdone. I even had the opportunity to meet him a few years ago during a styling class.
What do you look for when selecting a model to work with?
Bone structure, healthy hair and personality.
What product can you not live without?
Brazilian Blowout Zero....I would drink it if I could. I even use it in my own hair and it makes the styling so much easier. It makes the hair look healthy and shinny.  I highly recommend it to everyone of my clients.
What genres does your work focus on?
I'm very versatile with my makeup and hair work.  My work ranges from a very high fashion look to a very clean and soft bridal look to an everyday look.
Wardrobe Stylist of the Month:  Joey Thao

Who is your favorite wardrobe stylist of all time?
It would have to be a toss up of two stylist, I love the innovation and risk Nicola Formichetti is always taking for himself and his clients. As well as Rachel Zoe for her crisp eye for detail and always adding sophistication to every look. I really admire the brands they both have created and ambassadors they have been for stylist.
What is your favorite store to shop at?
Hands down I'm a thrift addict, I love vintage and finding treasures in mounds of clothes. But one of my favorites stores at the moment is Kokontozai, everything from them is so major.
Why wardrobe stylist?
To me I get to do something I love, be creative, and most of all make people feel good. Being a stylist you get to create any look for a person and it truly inspires them to be something. I love making people feel confident and beautiful, giving it that extra push the photographer or brand is looking for.
What inspires you?
I get inspired from my friends mostly who are also fashion addicts. They're always giving me ideas or sparking my inspiration for my next shoot. Then I go into overload and research like crazy, an image gives me a thousand of ideas.
What is your personal style?
My personal style is very sparatic, there are days I love being "Suit & Tie" then others "Showstopping Head To Toe". But overall I would say I'm very eclectic always mixing in a bit of street edge, but always looking to keep it classy with something sophisticated. To me fashion gives you the freedom to be whoever you want and play dress up.
