Carolina Herrera channels the Bauhaus movement and brings us gorgeous, wearable ensembles for Spring 2012. One of her strengths over the years has undoubtedly been dressing women to be chic, timeless and feminine, and these pieces speak to that aesthetic, but with a new twist. I'm loving the effect of the colorful and graphic patterns on the flowy, delicate fabrics and the proportions of the jackets and trousers. Even in spring, I love to wear over-sized, bold jackets and trousers that are slightly on the larger side. Carolina brings us those pieces, but with a modern sophistication and freshness perfect for the season.
